Nice to Know:

The Billboard News Press has been established in September 2007, with the focus on new vehicles, pre-owned wheels, accessories and repairs. We also became the first newspaper in Namibia to publish classified adverts FOR FREE. The Billboard was published every second week and started off with a total of 7 500 copies per week. Within 6 months the demand for this medium grew to such an extend, that we were forced to increase our print run to 9 000 copies. Three months down the line, we distributed 11 000 copies per week and another 3 months later we kicked off with 20 000 copies per week! We covered the central area, from Otjiwarongo to Keetmanshoop and Gobabis to Swakopmund.

Today, The Billboard has improved its quality print from a newspaper print run to a monthly A4 Magazine, also its contents has improved to host all types of businesses in Namibia. The print run has yet again increased to approximately 20 000 copies and are being distributed to 30+ Towns across Namibia (Aranos, Aus, Gobabis, Grootfontein, Grunau, Henties Bay, Karasburg, Karibib, Katima Mulilo, Keetmanshoop, Luderitz, Mariental, Noordoewer, Okahandja, Omaruru, Ondangwa, Ongwediva, Oranjemund, Oshakati, Oshikango, Otavi, Otjiwarongo, Outjo, Rehoboth, Rosh Pinah, Rundu, Swakopmund, Tsumeb, Usakos, Walvis Bay, Windhoek). All Major Border Posts (Ariamsvlei, Noordoewer, Buitepos & Oshikango) and Angola (Lubango, Namibe, Benguela, Lobito & Luanda).

In 2009, we launched the first Angola Business Directory. The Directory has been created as a tool to attract Angolan investors to the Namibian market. The print run for this exciting new product is 10 000 copies per year, once off. The distribution points include Oshikango, Lubango, Benguela, Lobito & Luanda. The 2010 Angola Business Directory will be printed towards the end of 2009.

An addition to the magazine & directory is our website (www.billboard.com.na). This is an added benefit to the advertiser, with an approximate 8 000 readers per month.
